Data Management and Security Group

Data Standards

All data in the system must be maintained by an appropriate University individual or agency who will be the custodian of that data.
When the data custodian cannot be the data owner, the data custodian will (in conjunction with the owner) establish written procedures to keep data accurate and current. The data owner is responsible to provide current, accurate data in accordance with established procedures.
Shared data is the responsibility by all data custodians and/or owners for consistency with data standards.
